Charles Giannetta is a man that has dedicated his entire life to the study of weather.
Like many people in the world they are consumed with a passion that sparks their inner passions.

Charlie has two passions in his life that he puts before anything. Charlie's wife means the world
to him evident by his classroom stories and passionate voice while discussing her. Besides his wife
and family, Charles has dedicated a career that has expanded over the time of 50 years.

Charles is weather and weather is Charles. They go together like peanut butter and jelly. Charles
has done it all from working in a government weather station to bring a professor at Moravian
College and now teaching inquisitive minds weather at Northampton Community College.

Charles is educating the youth of this country with knowledge that many of us simpy do not have.

Of course we live in this world everyday but how many of us really understand what happens deep
in the clouds. Charles has distinguished him self as not only a fine meteorologist but also as a
very professional educator. His knowledge is vast and we all learn from him everyday.

Before taking this class, I had little or no knowledge when it came to weather. Charles has guided
me through the class and now I can say I am confident in my weather abilities. He has taught me
skills that I never could have acquired on my own. I have learned map plotting, reading weather
maps and many other meteorological practices. None of this would have been possible without Charles.

Charles is weather by more importantly Charles makes weather fun. Weather has never been more
appealing.

Charles does it all. He will always be thought of as a great weather man, but he should be noted
as a pioneer in the meteorology field.
