**Albedo**

Albedo is defined as: The ratio between the amount of radiation reflected by an object as to the amount of radiation falling on that object.

This is expressed in percent.

Example:

The Earth receives 100 % radiation from the Sun. The Earth also reflects a percentage of this radiation, which is 30%.

Therefore, the Earth's Albedo (reflectivity) is 30%.
